B.C. (Before Commencement)
After attending grades 1-8 and my freshman & sophomore years at Tampa Junior Academy, I finally reached my high school graduation, class of 1988, at Forest Lake Academy near Orlando, Florida.
I attended Southern College of Seventh-day Adventists--recently renamed Southern Adventist University--in Collegedale, Tennessee, (not far from Chattanooga) from '88-'89 to '89-'90. Responsibilities included quality control, recording/editing of music and informative programs for air, maintaining satellite feed recording decks, and live remote digital recording of the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra in the Tivoli Theatre (which was always a lot of fun).
Then, I transferred to Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, (not far from South Bend, Indiana) where I graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Technology in Media Technology/Media Communication (an independent concentration). It was there that I also worked for a year-and-a-half as a lab instructor for multi-image and soundtrack design classes.
My classes included soundtrack design, videography, photography, multi-image production, and desktop publishing/graphic design--the latter being my current occupation.
